Kenwood Therapy Center offers a comprehensive
and coordinated range of therapy services
for individuals, couples, children and families.
Daytime, evening and weekend appointments
are available to enable clients to choose
a time which best fits into their schedule.
Individual, couple, family and group counseling
is offered for:
- Child, Adolescent and Adult Therapy
- Emotional Health: depression, anxiety,
grief
- Relational Health: communication conflict,
parenting, adoption
- Chemical Health: NOT Rule 25,
but other regular assessment, therapy and aftercare
- Sexual Health: intimacy, compulsivity,
abuse
- Vocational/Organizational Consultation:
career testing/development, coaching,
conflict resolution
- Hypnosis and Mindfulness Meditation:
relaxation, anxiety, cravings
- Gambling Addiction: intervention, assessment,
therapy
Kenwood Therapy Center staff is engaged
in continuous research and evaluation of
their work. Clients may be asked, with informed
and legal consent, to complete brief therapy
evaluations or allow videotaping to help
inform and provide professional accountability
and development. Clients may be asked for permission to be contacted by phone,
email or mail to check up on how things
went or are going as part of follow-up care
and research.

Sexual Health and Responsibility Program (SHARP)
SHARP is a comprehensive program dedicated to promoting sexual health and preventing sexual harm in the internet age.
SHARP combines strategies for prevention, assessment and therapy into an integrated approach that helps children, adolescents, and adults. SHARP works with individuals, families, communities and organizations to address a wide array of sexual behavior issues. This program works collaboratively for transformation and social change.
We accept many insurances and county contracts for SHARP for Youth Services. Talk to Intake for details.

Supervision &
Consultation
Kenwood Therapy center also offers professional
clinical supervision and consultation for
licensure or consultation in Marriage and
Family Therapy, Psychology, Alchohol and
Drug Counseling, and Licensed Professional
Counseling.
Programs, led by Walter Bera, PhD, LP,
LMFT, LADC, are held on Mondays from 9:00am-11:00am
and 11:00am 1:00pm. For more information,
